It looks like we will be having our first snap of brisk fall weather this week in the South. Temperatures are dipping down to the low 80's here in Charleston (!) so, we're putting on a big pot of chili and bringing out all of the amazing fall home decor finds that we've discovered since putting away our beach bags and sunscreen. You may already be deep into all things fall, but read on because these treasures can be enjoyed through Thanksgiving and easily roll right into Christmas. Here's our Top 5 List of Favorite Fall Finds for 2019.
1) Wild Roots Candle Co.
Do you know that moment when you walk into a room and before you even say hello, you ask "what is that amazing smell?" That was how we discovered
Wild Roots Candle Co. and we were immediately smitten.
That amazing smell was
Driftwood + Jasmine, the debut candle of the newly launched brand. We love the fresh, slightly woodsy scent that can fill a room without overtaking it. Wild Roots just released their second scent,
Ginger + Saffron which is absolutely perfect for the fall. The candles are hand-poured, soy wax, and phthalate-free with a modern label design that is just as fresh and clean as the candle scents themselves. Wild Roots candles are available as individual purchases or you can sign up for a monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly subscription service. An amazing candle sent directly to us every month? Yes, please! The subscription service is perfect for the candle loving person on your holiday list...they will love and appreciate you and your gift all year long! Learn more at

2) White Pumpkin Everything
Once considered rare and an oddity, white pumpkins (also known as "albino pumpkin", "ghost pumpkin", "Snowball", and "Casper", to name a few aliases) are now showing up everywhere from pumpkin patches and farm stands to a practical takeover of "fall decor" Pinterest searches.
While white pumpkins aren't new, they make our list because of the incredible
creativity that now surrounds them. We love them for their versatility and how they bring fall into any home decor. Thanks to white pumpkins, you are no longer burdened by "how will fall decor look with my coastal-inspired home?" White pumpkins pair beautifully with eucalyptus and lambs ear making them a lovely and dreamy addition to tablescapes, wreaths, mantles, and front porches. They also complement classic orange and golden hues, can be glammed up with glitter and bows, or be a dramatic contrast to black. We love the simplicity of white pumpkins and how they magically create a pop of unexpected color like on this gorgeous front porch pictured above. You can find artifical white pumpkins at craft stores or
online. For a bevy of ideas on how to use white pumpkins and gourds in your home this season, visit

3) Plaid Throw Blankets from Pottery Barn
You can always count on Pottery Barn to have the perfect seasonal item and there is
nothing more perfect for fall than a
great plaid throw. Designer and all-around creative talent Mollie Surratt of
The White Label Studio said, "I am loving the plaid blankets from Pottery Barn this fall! They are so on-trend, cozy, and perfect for nights by the fire pit." A classic fall staple, you can find plaid blankets in a range of colors, patterns, and styles in gorgeous autumnal hues which can quickly transform a room or set the tone for a fall vignette. They work beautifully at the foot of the bed, over the arm of well-loved leather chair, or casually draped on a front porch rocking chair. Learn more at

have all the makings of a treasure you hand down in your family. One of our favorites this season is the
Wine Country Picnic Basket from Mark & Graham.

The Wine Country Picnic Basket is woven from natural wicker and features leather accents, a turn lock clasp and an adjustable shoulder strap with a leather shoulder pad. It includes four stemless wine glasses, bottle opener, and wine stopper. Not only is this basket perfect for fall, but it makes for a wonderful gift for the wine enthusiast on your list.
